why does it show actual for the metric chart and for some other events it shows suffixed figures like 14.6k instead of 14656 how to fix?

Mixpanel allows you to control how metric values are displayed, including whether numbers are shown in their full form (e.g., 14,656) or in an abbreviated/suffixed format (e.g., 14.6k). This is managed through the chart and metric unit customization settings. To fix this and display the actual (full) numbers instead of suffixed figures: 1. Open the report or metric chart where you see the suffixed numbers. 2. Locate the metric block (usually at the bottom left of the metric block). 3. Adjust the “Abbreviation” setting: There is an option to choose whether or not the result should be abbreviated. Turn off abbreviation to display the full number (e.g., 14,656 instead of 14.6k). 4. Save your changes to persist this setting in your report or board. These settings will update the chart, tooltip, and the table below the chart. Once configured, your chosen display (abbreviated or full number) will be saved and used consistently for that metric or formula across reports and boards Chart Customization. If you are seeing different formats for different events or metrics, it is likely because the abbreviation setting is configured differently for each. Adjust them as needed for consistency.

To adjust and view the abbreviation setting for metrics in Mixpanel, follow these steps: 1. Open your report in Mixpanel where you want to adjust the number display.2. Locate the metric block in your report. This is typically found at the bottom left of each metric block.3. Find the unit configuration section. In this section, you can configure various aspects of how your metric is displayed, including the abbreviation setting.4. Adjust the “Abbreviation” option. Here, you can choose whether or not the result should be abbreviated (e.g., 14.6k) or shown in full (e.g., 14,656). Turn off abbreviation to display the full number.5. Save your changes to ensure the setting persists in your report and board. These settings will update the chart, tooltip, and the table below the chart. The abbreviation option is available for all metrics and can be set individually for each one Chart Customization: Configure your report axis and color.> Note: The knowledge sources do not provide screenshots or a more detailed UI walkthrough, but the abbreviation setting is explicitly mentioned as configurable in the metric block’s unit configuration area.

I'm sorry, but the knowledge sources do not provide explicit instructions on how to adjust the abbreviation setting specifically for metric card charts as opposed to line charts. The documentation describes how to configure abbreviation and unit settings for metrics in general, but does not differentiate between metric card charts and line charts in terms of this setting. All available guidance refers to configuring these options within the metric block, which applies to the chart, tooltip, and table, but does not specify chart-type-specific behavior Chart Customization: Configure your report axis and color. If you need chart-type-specific abbreviation settings, the knowledge sources do not confirm this is possible.
