So look at the documentation online for Mixpanel. I want to know for instance if they click on "View Accountant" (like when you are doing a trial) during the trial you got a button on the top where if you clicked on that you see a list of our partners for our accountant partners. I want to know if there is an influence between the ones that click on that button and then what if they do a key event or if they end up paying. I want to know that. How which is the report that you would use in Mixpanel for this?
Hi Juan I., Please stand by as I search the Mixpanel knowledge base for an AI-powered answer. I normally take about 15 seconds or so. To measure whether clicking your “View Accountant” button influences doing a key event or becoming a paying customer, the best-fit Mixpanel report from the docs is Signal. Why Signal? Signal is specifically designed to quantify how strongly one event is associated with another “goal” event, such as payment or a key activation event. It measures correlation between a correlation event (e.g. “View Accountant”) and a goal event (e.g. “Start Subscription”, “Purchase”, or a trial key action). [Signal overview]In Signal you would: 1. Choose your target users and date range (e.g. trial users over the last 90 days). [Signal quick start] 2. Set your Goal Event - Example: “Subscription Started” or “Payment Completed” or some “Key Event” you care about. 3. Add “View Accountant” as a Correlation Event - Optionally filter it (e.g. only during trial), or break it down by properties if needed. [Signal quick start] 4. Click Correlate.Signal will then show: - Correlation strength (phi coefficient) between “View Accountant” and your goal event. [Signal calculations] - Supporting statistics like precision and recall (e.g. “what % of users who clicked ‘View Accountant’ went on to pay”). [Signal interpreting results] - A Mixpanel Opportunity Score indicating if this behavior is an impactful lever. [Signal calculations]If you also want to see paths those users take (what they do before/after clicking that button), use a Flows report in addition. [Flows basic features] But for “does clicking this influence conversion?”, Signal is the primary report.
