What is the (not_set) variable in some data sets?

The (not set) variable in Mixpanel datasets typically refers to undefined or null values. Here's a breakdown of what (not set) means and when it appears: 1. Undefined Values: (not set) appears when events being measured in a query do not contain the property used for breakdown. For example, if you're analyzing Page View events broken down by a campaign ID property, Page Views without a set campaign ID would be grouped as (not set) Falsy Values.2. Null Values: Null values, which represent the intentional absence of any object value, are also parsed as (not set) in the Mixpanel UI Falsy Values.3. Geolocation Data: For geolocation properties (City, Region, Country), (not set) can appear if the user's IP couldn't be mapped to a location or if their IP was not included with the request Falsy Values.4. User Profiles: When segmenting an event by a User Profile property, (not set) can appear if there are User Profile profiles that don't contain that property or if the event was triggered by a user without a User Profile Falsy Values. It's important to note that (not set) is different from (empty string), which refers to a string with a length of zero Falsy Values. If you don't want to see (not set) values in your report, you can remove them by unchecking the "undefined/null" box in the visualization legend or by looking only at instances where the property in question "is set" Falsy Values.
