Why is there a discrepancy between retention metrics and retention curve views for the same configuration?
Hello! I wonder if anyone can help me - I’m fairly new to retention metrics but have set up a few for our app. The thing I’m confused about is why there is a discrepancy between retention metrics in the metrics view and the retention curve view - I’ve set up the same configuration for them both: When I choose:
Metric
App launch (first time ever) -> app launch
On or After
Week 1
The retention rate is 28.42%
When I choose:
Retention Curve
App launch (first time ever) -> app launch
On or After
Select Week 1 on the chart
The retention rate is 34.06%
Why is there this difference?
