It is surprising to have over 3k hidden events. Generally, that behavior is associated with some sort of implementation issue that is causing unexpected distinct names to be sent.
Are you able to check in your projects Lexicon to see if there are unexpected hidden events? If there are, I'd recommend checking the implementation for where they are being set and sent from.
