Mixpanel Deprecation of Project Token Access and Impact on Segment Integration Using Service Accounts

we got an email that Mixpanel will be deprecating project token access next year in favor of service accounts; we are sending events to Mixpanel through Segment (and I think that's a fairly common setup) and Segment uses the project token to send events. Will there be a change allowing Segment to send events using a service account instead? If so, will there be instructions on how to set it up, and when is it expected to happen?
