Hi all, I am stumped and wonder if anyone might have some insights to share. We want to create a retention report for a set of cohorts. Each of these cohorts joined a workshop on a different day. We want to be able to track engagement retention after the completion of the work shops and show all of the cohorts on one data viz if possible in a week by week (week 0, week 1, week2, etc) basis so we can see which workshops has the largest impact on retention. I have asked Kapa, and Chat gpt and I am stuck. IS this even possible? I got as far as adding a custom user property to profiles in the cohorts to use the workshop dates, but I wasn’t able to do much after that.
Hey Julee P. This should be pretty straightforward to do. Ideally, you should have en event for workshop ended, and then use that as the 1st event in your retention report. That way you can see weekly measurements. Or, fire the workshop date, and name as a user property, and then create cohorts for these users, and build out retention reports by these cohorts. Slightly more time consuming. I'd say go with the 1st method.
how do I create that event in the system for these users?
Where are you hosting the workshops?
the workshops are usually run through zoom or done in person.
Ah okay. You can use zapier to trigger an event on Mixpanel.
booked!
Perfect. Speak soon!
the only thing I can think of was I mistyped my email address
Sure, can you send over your email?
for whatever reason it didn’t come through. I didn’t get an email and it didn’t add to my calendar 🤷♀️
I am happy to rebook that time, if you want to cancel the current meeting
