Issue with Dropping Events in Mixpanel Lexicon Explained

Hello everyone! Not sure if this is the place to ask these types of questions, but here goes: I'm trying to drop some events and the docs say to got to Lexicon, select the event type, and hit the drop button (https://docs.mixpanel.com/docs/data-governance/lexicon#dropping-data). But I do not see a drop button. I also confirmed that I have ownership of the project. Thanks in advance!

I don't think you can drop Mixpanel Events (starting with $), you can only Hide them.

I doubt it's documented, but they're built-in events that are generally automatically generated by the library; I bet you can disable their firing by using a setting when you load the library itself, like described in here https://docs.mixpanel.com/docs/tracking-methods/sdks/javascript

from what I can tell $mp_click events are connected to the heatmap functionality https://docs.mixpanel.com/docs/session-replay/heatmaps or autocapture https://docs.mixpanel.com/docs/tracking-methods/autocapture so if these events bother you you'll have to turn off either heatmaps or autocapture, whichever you're using
