When I create or update a cohort, it shows me X number of users in cohort. When I press save, it shows the same number in the table. When I refresh, it shows 0. When I filter on cohort, it acts as if nobody is in it. Anyone know what's up?
Cohort User Count Discrepancy: Issues After Saving and Refreshing | Mixpanel Community
Hi Mark- Julianne from Mixpanel Support here!
The count displayed on the Cohorts page is cached and will sometimes show 0 until the query is re-run. If you need to see the most accurate number on the Cohorts page, you can manually click the three dots on the right-hand side of your Cohorts page and select "Refresh Count". This will refresh the data, and the count on the page will then be updated.
The filtering on the cohort sounds more unexpected. To confirm, are users in the cohort tracking the event being analyzed? Are there other filters that may be filtering the users who qualify for the cohort out?
thanks! I'll check that out. I think the filtering on the cohort is solved. I didn't realize you could filter an entire board. I was essentially trying to make a cohort and use that as a "filter" by having the cohort on every chart and simply filtering the cohort.
