To enable Single Sign-On (SSO) and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Mixpanel, you must have the appropriate access level and follow these steps:

You need to be an Organization Owner or Admin to access and modify SSO and 2FA settings in Mixpanel. Other roles, such as Member or Billing Admin, do not have permission to manage these security settings Roles & Permissions.---
Enabling SSO
1. Navigate to Organization Settings: Click the gear icon at the top-right, then go to the Access Security tab.2. Configure SSO: - Toggle on the Single Sign-On option. - Enter the required SAML configuration details from your Identity Provider (IDP), such as certificate, authentication URL, and issuer URL. - Claim your domain by adding a TXT record to your DNS as instructed in the UI. - Optionally, you can require all users to log in using SSO by toggling Require Single Sign-On. Enabling 2FA
1. Navigate to Organization Settings: Go to Access Security.2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication: - In the Two Factor Authentication section, click the icon to enable (it turns purple when enabled). - You will be prompted to verify your Mixpanel password to confirm the change. Note: If your organization has SSO enabled, you will not have access to 2FA settings, as SSO and 2FA cannot be used together in Mixpanel Two-Factor Authentication.---Summary: - You must be an Owner or Admin to enable SSO or 2FA. - SSO and 2FA cannot be enabled simultaneously—enabling SSO disables 2FA for the organization. - All configuration is done via the Access Security tab in Organization Settings. If you need more detailed, step-by-step instructions for your specific IDP (Okta, Azure, etc.), refer to the relevant Mixpanel documentation for that provider.
