To create a report in Mixpanel that highlights events whose volume has increased by more than 200% compared to last month and have a current month volume above 500k, you can use the following approach: 1. Create an Insights Report: - Go to the Insights report and select “All Events” or the specific events you want to analyze. - Set the time range to the current month.2. Breakdown by Event Name: - Add a breakdown by “Event Name” to see the volume for each event.3. Use the Compare Feature: - Use the “Compare to Past” feature to compare the current month to the previous month. This will show you both the absolute and percentage change for each event between the two periods. - You can select “Percent Change over Baseline” to see the percentage increase for each event compared to last month. This will help you identify events with more than a 200% increase [Comparisons].4. Filter or Sort Results: - While Mixpanel’s UI does not currently support filtering directly by percentage increase or absolute volume in the report itself, you can sort the table by the percentage change and manually identify events with more than 200% increase. - Similarly, sort or scan for events with a current month volume above 500k.5. Export for Further Filtering (Optional): - If you need to automate or further filter, you can export the report data and apply your filters (e.g., > 200% increase and > 500k volume) in a spreadsheet.Note: Mixpanel does not currently support setting a calculation or filter directly in the UI to only show events with both a > 200% increase and a volume above 500k. You will need to visually inspect or export the data for this level of filtering [Comparisons].If you want to be notified automatically about such changes, you can set up an Alert for a custom threshold (e.g., volume above 500k), but the alerting system does not currently support combining both a percentage increase and an absolute volume threshold in a single alert [Alert Criteria Types].Summary: - Use Insights with breakdown and compare features. - Sort by percent change and volume. - Manual or export-based filtering is needed for combined criteria.Let me know if you need step-by-step instructions for any of these steps!
