Do Mixpanel Default Events Count Toward Purchased Quota?

I would like to know if the mix-panel's default event, such as create_alias, is deducted from the purchased quota?

Based on the knowledge sources, Mixpanel's system events like $create_alias are excluded from your monthly event quota calculations.According to Mixpanel's documentation, certain events and API updates are specifically excluded from the Monthly Events calculation, including: - Identify ($identify) - Create Alias ($create_alias) - Merge ($merge) - Opt In ($opt_in) - Session Recording Checkpoint ($mp_session_record) - User profile creation/updatesHow Mixpanel Pricing Works explicitly lists these excluded events. This exclusion applies to both event-based billing plans and MTU (Monthly Tracked User) billing plans. For MTU plans, the documentation at MTU Billing confirms that these system events are non-qualifying and excluded from MTU calculations. So to directly answer your question: No, the $create_alias event is not deducted from your purchased quota.
