Yes, you can delete events in Mixpanel. This is done using the Data Deletion feature, which allows you to permanently remove problematic or sensitive data from your Mixpanel project. To delete events: 1. Go to the Data Deletion section in Project Settings. 2. Click âRequest an Event Deletionâ. 3. Select the event you want to delete. 4. Choose the time range (note: event time cannot be more than 180 days in the past). 5. Optionally, add event property filters. 6. Validate in the preview that the correct data will be deleted. 7. Submit the deletion request. The deletion is permanent and irreversible after 7 days, but you can undo the action within that period. During this time, the data will be hidden from users to prevent accidental analysis of incorrect or sensitive data. Please use this feature with caution, as it has permanent consequences Data Clean-Up: Deleting problematic data How to use Data Deletion.Note: Data Deletion is recommended for specific scenarios, such as removing spam, duplicate, or sensitive events. If you simply want to stop collecting new data for an event, consider using the "Drop" feature in Lexicon instead, which prevents new data from being stored but does not remove historical data Dropping Data.
