On a Flows report, does a filter on Step A apply to steps afterwards A+1, A+2, etc? Eg, if my filter doesn't contain a keyword in Step A, will subsequent events also not contain that keyword?

In Mixpanel Flows reports, filters can be applied in different ways, but the knowledge sources do not explicitly state that a filter applied to Step A will automatically apply to subsequent steps (A+1, A+2, etc.).- If you apply a filter to Step A (for example, filtering for a keyword in Step A), only the events at Step A that match the filter will be included in the flow. However, this does not guarantee that subsequent steps will also contain that keyword, unless you explicitly apply the same filter to those steps as well. - To ensure that subsequent steps also meet the same filter criteria, you would need to apply the filter to each step individually. The documentation describes how filters can be applied globally (to the entire report) or inline (to specific events or steps), but does not mention automatic propagation of a filter from one step to the next in Flows. Therefore, if your filter on Step A excludes events without a keyword, only Step A events with that keyword will be included, but subsequent events (A+1, A+2, etc.) are not automatically filtered for that keyword unless you set additional filters on those steps. For more details on filtering in reports, see the documentation on Filters and Inline Filtering.
