Is it possible to send an event and forward date it so that it's dated at some point in the future?

No, it is not possible to forward-date an event in Mixpanel so that it is dated at some point in the future. The Mixpanel /track API endpoint only accepts events with timestamps up to 5 days in the past; there is no mention in the documentation of support for future-dated events. Events with timestamps older than 5 days will not be ingested, and there is no indication that future timestamps are allowed or supported in any SDK or API documentation provided Mixpanel SDKs: Javascript Mixpanel SDKs: Python Debugging: Validate your data and troubleshoot your implementation. If you attempt to send an event with a future timestamp, it is likely to be rejected or processed with the actual ingestion time. The knowledge sources do not explicitly mention handling or support for future-dated events.
