In Mixpanel Insights reports, you cannot mix different visualization types (like a line and a bar) for different metrics within the same chart. When you select a visualization (e.g., Line, Bar, or Pie), that visualization is applied to all metrics currently in the report [Quick Start; Basic Features].However, there are a few ways to effectively compare multiple metrics: ** Side-by-Side Comparison: You can plot multiple metrics (Events, Funnels, or Retention) in a single Insights report to see them side-by-side [Plot Insights]. ** Dual Y-Axes: If your metrics are on different scales, you can use Axis Customization. You can assign specific metrics to the left y-axis and others to the right y-axis within a line or column chart to visualize correlations [Axis Customization]. ** Table Chart: The Table chart visualization is specifically designed to let you quickly scan and compare precise values for multiple metrics per segment side-by-side [Sorting; Insights Table Chart Updates]. ** Time-Segmented vs. Aggregate: You can switch between visualizations that show trends over time (Line, Column) and those that show a summary of the entire period (Bar, Pie, Metric) [Basic Features].If you need to see a Bar and a Line chart simultaneously, the best practice is to save each report to a Board, where you can place the different visualizations next to each other [Quick Start; Chart Customization].
