No, using the API to export your data does not incur additional costs. However, if you choose to use the Data Pipelines feature to export your events to a cloud storage bucket or data warehouse of your choice, it is a paid add-on. Mixpanel offers a 30-day free trial for this feature.

Please note that while exporting data to BigQuery via Mixpanel managed BigQuery does not incur storage costs, standard compute costs will occur when querying this data. If you choose to copy the dataset into your own BigQuery instance, you will start accruing storage costs from BigQuery.
