To get Daily Active Users (DAU) in Mixpanel, you can follow these steps:

1. Create a new Insights report 2. Select the event(s) that define what makes a user "active" in your product 3. Choose your desired time range 4. Change the measurement from "Total Events" to "Unique Users" 5. Click the advanced settings (> arrow) next to "Unique Users" 6. Select "Daily Active Users (DAU)" from the dropdown menu

DAU in Mixpanel measures the number of users who performed your selected event within the last 24 hours. For example, if you want to track how many users watched a video on a given day, you would select the "watch video" event and then choose DAU as your measurement.

According to Mixpanel's documentation, if you select DAU for a date range that includes the current day, the query will consider the end of the current day as the end of the time segment, even though it's in the future.
