Yes, you can see more than 12 segments from a breakdown, including when using Group Analytics, but there are limits depending on the report and visualization type.
Mixpanel applies segment limits per report type and chart:
- Insights (table): up to 3,000 visible segments
- Insights (bar): up to 3,000 visible segments (but only 300 can be selected at once)
- Insights (line & pie): up to 3,000 visible segments (50 selectable)
- Funnels: up to 200 visible segments (12 selectable)

The “12” you’re seeing is likely the default selection, not the hard cap. You can change which and how many segments are selected (up to the selection limit) and, in table view, see many more rows.
