I am creating a flows report. i want to use the Hide events button to hide a custom event. i am not able to find the custom event in the list. So now my custom event is breaking all of the flows reports. How do i hide custom events from flow reports?

Based on the available knowledge sources, you can use the Hide Events button in the Flows report to hide events from your analysis. However, the documentation does not explicitly state that custom events can be hidden using this feature. The process described for hiding events involves selecting from a list, but it appears this list may only include regular events, not custom events. This could explain why your custom event does not appear in the list when you try to hide it.Additionally, the documentation notes that only the 50 most frequently queried custom events that are shared with all users in the project are considered for display in Flows. There is also a setting to disable custom events in Flows by toggling the "Show Custom Events" option in the dropdown menu. If you disable this option, custom events (except those manually chosen as steps) will not be shown in the report. However, custom events that have been manually added as steps will continue to appear and cannot be hidden through this toggle alone. To summarize: - The Hide Events button may not support hiding custom events directly. - You can try toggling off "Show Custom Events" in the Flows report settings to remove automatically included custom events, but this will not affect custom events manually added as steps. - There is no documented method to hide a custom event from Flows if it is manually selected as a step.If your custom event is breaking your Flows reports and you cannot hide it using the available UI options, you may need to reconsider how the custom event is used in your report or adjust its definition or sharing settings in Lexicon. Unfortunately, the knowledge sources do not provide a direct solution for hiding custom events from Flows reports using the Hide Events button or similar functionality Custom Events in Flows Flows Advanced. If this is a critical issue, you may want to reach out to Mixpanel support for further assistance.
