Mixpanel provides reserved profile properties for both full name ($name) and first name ($first_name). However, for certain features like Cohort Syncs, Mixpanel specifically exports only $first_name and $last_name, not the full name ($name). In the Mixpanel UI and reports, if available, these name properties are used for display purposes. So, while both can be set, for system features and exports, Mixpanel defaults to using $first_name and $last_name rather than the full name ($name) property Reserved Properties.
