In a funnel report, the data you use at the top, such as filters, can apply to all steps of the funnel or just specific steps, depending on how you configure them. - Global Filters apply to the entire funnel. They filter the results of the entire report to show only data with that property or cohort. This means that any part of the funnel that does not meet these filter requirements will be excluded from the report’s results. Learn more about global filters here.- Per-Step Filters apply to individual steps within the funnel. These filters add granularity and specificity to your conversion criteria by applying event or user property filters to each step of your funnel. This means that only events that meet the filter criteria for that specific step will be considered in the funnel calculation. Learn more about per-step filtering here.If you want to control when a property value is locked in for all steps of your funnel, you can use property attribution, which allows you to attribute a property value from any step to the whole funnel. Learn more about property attribution here. For more detailed information, you can refer to the Mixpanel Funnels documentation.

I want to know if every step of the events in the funnel should happen within the time I set at the date of the report or it only needs the very first step of the funnel to happen during the time kapa.ai

In a Mixpanel funnel report, the date range you set for the report determines when the first step of the funnel must occur. Once a user performs the first step within this date range, they have a specified conversion window to complete the remaining steps of the funnel. The Conversion Window is the time frame within which all steps of the funnel must be completed after the first step is performed. By default, this window is set to 30 days, but it can be adjusted to a maximum of 366 days. The conversion window starts with the first instance of the Step 1 event and is not reset by later instances of the same event in the same funnel trial. Learn more about the conversion window here. For example, if you set a funnel with a conversion window of one hour, and a user performs the first step at 1pm, they must complete all subsequent steps by 2pm to be counted as a conversion. If they perform the first step again at 1:30pm, the conversion window does not reset; it still ends at 2pm.For more detailed information, you can refer to the Mixpanel Funnels documentation.
