I have a "search view" event on my reservation platform and i want to know if there are many people who search for 2 totally different destinations at the same date. Search view event has the property "start date" that i can hold constant on a funnel for example. But i dont know how to ensure that my two "destination" properties are different. How can i do that

To answer your question about analyzing searches for different destinations on the same date using Mixpanel, we can use the Funnels report with some specific settings. Here's how you can approach this:1. Create a funnel with two "search view" events. 2. Use the "Hold Property Constant" feature for the "start date" property. 3. Add filters to ensure the destinations are different. Here's a step-by-step guide:1. In the Funnels report, add two "search view" events as steps in your funnel.2. In the Conversion Criteria section, use the "Hold Property Constant" feature for the "start date" property. This ensures that both search events happen on the same date. You can do this by clicking on "Advanced" in the Conversion Criteria section and selecting "Holding property constant". Then choose the "start date" property. Funnels: Measure conversions through a series of events provides more details on how to use this feature.3. To ensure that the destinations are different, you can use the "Comparison Events" feature. This allows you to select multiple events at a particular step and compare them. Funnels: Measure conversions through a series of events explains how to use comparison events.4. For each step, add a filter for the "destination" property. For the first step, you might filter for one destination, and for the second step, filter for a different destination.5. You may also want to consider using the "Exclusion Steps" feature to exclude users who searched for the same destination twice. This would help ensure you're only capturing users who searched for different destinations. Funnels: Measure conversions through a series of events provides information on how to use exclusion steps.By setting up your funnel this way, you'll be able to see how many users searched for two different destinations on the same date. The conversion rate between the two steps will give you an indication of how common this behavior is.Remember that the exact implementation might vary depending on how your events and properties are structured. You may need to adjust the approach based on your specific data model.
