To see the Active Users (DAU) for a specific day and only include users who have a profile in Mixpanel, follow these steps: 1. Go to the Users Page: On the Users page, you can choose between viewing "User Profiles" or "All Users." - Select User Profiles. This will ensure that only users who have at least one user profile property set are shown.2. Filter for Active Users of the Day: - Use the filtering options to select users who performed an event on the specific day you are interested in. This will give you the Daily Active Users (DAU) for that day, but only among users with profiles.3. (Optional) Edit Columns: - If you want to see specific profile properties, click Edit Columns to customize the data displayed in the table. This approach ensures you are only seeing users who are both active on the selected day and have a user profile in Mixpanel. For more details, see the official documentation: Mixpanel Users Page

How add this metric in a board
How add this metric in a board kapa.ai
Let me check the knowledge base for you again. One moment! 📚
To add the metric "Active Users of the day (DAU) with a profile" to a Mixpanel Board, follow these steps: 1. Create the Report in Insights: - Go to the Insights report. - Select the event(s) that define your active users. - Set the measurement to Daily Active Users (DAU). - Add a filter to include only users who have a profile property set (e.g., filter by a property that only exists on user profiles). - Set the date range to the specific day you want to analyze.2. Add the Report to a Board: - After creating and saving your report, click the Add to Board button (or use the board breadcrumb dropdown at the top left of the report and select "Add to another Board"). - Choose the Board you want to add the report to. This will create a linked copy of the report on your Board. - Alternatively, you can start from the Board and use the Add button to add an existing report or create a new one directly from the Board interface. This process ensures your Board displays the DAU metric filtered to only users with profiles, and you can further customize the Board as needed. For more details, see the documentation on adding content to Boards and using the Users page for filtering by user profiles.

I want another insight in board, Users who have spent at least 1 minute on 2 consecutive days before the date. kapa.ai
Let me check the knowledge base for you again. One moment! 📚
To create an Insight for "Users who have spent at least 1 minute on 2 consecutive days before a given date" and add it to a Board in Mixpanel, you would need to: 1. Define the Behavior in Insights: - In the Insights report, select the event that tracks user session duration (e.g., a session event with a duration property). - Use filters to include only sessions where the duration is at least 1 minute. - To identify users who did this on 2 consecutive days, you would typically use cohort logic or advanced filtering.2. Cohort Creation: - Use the Cohort Builder to define a cohort: users who performed the event (with duration ≥ 1 minute) on at least 2 consecutive days before your target date. - However, the knowledge sources do not explicitly mention a built-in way to filter for "consecutive days" directly in the UI or cohort builder. You can filter for users who did the event on at least 2 days, but not necessarily consecutive days, unless you export and process the data externally or use advanced custom properties.3. Add to Board: - Once you have created the cohort or report, save it. - Add the report to your Board using the "Add" button on the Board or from the report itself by selecting "Add to another Board" Step 3: Adding content to Boards.Limitation: Mixpanel allows you to create cohorts based on users who performed an event on a certain number of unique days (e.g., "at least 2 days"), but the knowledge sources do not confirm a way to specify "consecutive" days directly in the UI or cohort builder. You may need to use external processing or custom properties to achieve this exact logic. If you only need "at least 2 days" (not necessarily consecutive), you can do this directly in the cohort builder by specifying the event and the count of unique days Creating Cohorts.Summary: - You can add an Insight for users who spent at least 1 minute on at least 2 days before a date. - Filtering for "consecutive" days is not explicitly supported in the UI per the current documentation. - Add the resulting report or cohort to your Board as described above. If you need exact consecutive day logic, you may need to process this outside Mixpanel and import as a static cohort via CSV Creating Cohorts via CSV.
