Is it possible to subscribe a public board and receive the public board url in the email, not the deeplink that requires a login to mixpanel?
Hi Tobias, Please stand by as I search the Mixpanel knowledge base for an AI-powered answer. I normally take about 15 seconds or so. In case AI cannot answer your question, feel free to reach out to Mixpanel support at mixpanel.com/get-support. The knowledge sources do not explicitly describe an option to change the link type used in Board Subscriptions. What they do say: - Board Subscriptions send a “snapshot of a board” via email or Slack on a schedule, and recipients can be any email address (including external). [Board subscriptions] - Public Boards provide a separate “Public Link” (and optional password-protected “Embed Link”) that can be shared or embedded, including with people who don’t have a Mixpanel login. [Public boards; Password protection; Embedding public boards]However, there is no documentation indicating that Board Subscription emails can be configured to include the Public Board URL instead of the standard “View Board” deeplink that points to the Mixpanel app and expects authentication.Based on the docs available, I cannot confirm a way to: - “Subscribe a public board” in a special mode, or - Force subscription emails to use the public-board URL instead of the authenticated deeplink. If you need external stakeholders to access the live board without logging in, the documented path is to share the Public Link (or Embed Link) directly, separate from the subscription email.
