To create a chart showing how many users in the last month have done a specific activity on exactly Y days of the month, you can use Mixpanel's Insights report with the Frequency feature. Here's how you can do it: 1. Go to the Insights report in Mixpanel. 2. Set up your query to measure the event that represents the activity you're interested in. 3. Change the measurement from the default "Unique Users" to "Frequency per User". 4. Set the time range to the last month. 5. In the advanced settings, select "Non-cumulative Frequency" under Frequency Criteria. The "Non-cumulative Frequency" option is key here, as it "calculates the number of users who did the event in exactly X unique intervals" Docs Reports > Retention: Measure engagement over time > Advanced > Frequency View> .This will give you a breakdown of how many users performed the activity on exactly 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, and so on, up to the maximum number of days in the month. You can visualize this data in various chart types available in Insights, such as a bar chart or column chart, which would clearly show the distribution of users across the different frequency buckets.Remember that Mixpanel counts unique days, so if a user performed the activity multiple times in a single day, it would still count as one day for that user.Docs Reports > Insights: Visualize trends and compositions within your data > Advanced > Measurements> provides more details on how to set up different measurements in Insights, including Frequency per User.
