You’re not doing anything wrong—there’s a limitation in how some demo boards can be copied.For the “Analyzing MTU Sources” use case, the docs say to: 1. Open the demo board from the link: [MTU billing].
2. Click the three‑dots menu (⋯) in the top‑right of the board.
3. Duplicate the board.
4. Then Move the duplicated board into your own project using the Move to option. [Move boards]However, whether this works depends on your project’s Move settings and residency: - An Owner/Admin must have Move enabled in Project Settings → Moving Boards, and it must allow moving boards out of the demo project into your org. [Move overview]
- Moving boards between US and EU projects is not supported; if your project is in a different region from the demo project, you won’t be able to copy it directly. [Move overview]The knowledge sources don’t provide more specific troubleshooting steps beyond these settings and region limitations, so if: - Move is enabled,
- your project is in the same region as the demo project, and
- you still can’t duplicate+move the board, then the docs don’t state the next step; you’d likely need to contact Mixpanel Support from within the app.
