why do I get this message when creating a cohort based on a funnel with a conversion window that spans several days? “This cohort will not include users who complete the funnel after Jun 30, 2025. Due to the selected conversion window, users can continue to complete the funnel until Jun 30, 2026. To fix this, please move the time window end-date before Jun 30, 2024.”

To ensure your cohort accurately reflects all possible conversions, Mixpanel suggests moving the funnel’s end date back by at least the length of the conversion window.This behavior is consistent with how Mixpanel’s conversion window works: the window starts at the first step and does not reset, and users must complete all steps within that window to be counted as converted.
