With heatmaps, can you view a set of pages by using as regex or specific page path format?

Yes—with Mixpanel Heatmaps you can group a set of pages using wildcard matching in the URL, but the docs only mention simple wildcards, not full regex.- Supported: Use “” in the URL to aggregate pages (e.g., /products/ to include /products/123, /products/456, etc.). [Using Heatmaps] - Not mentioned: Regex-based matching. The knowledge sources don’t state support for regex in Heatmaps URL selection. If you need more advanced grouping than wildcards, the docs don’t confirm it—so today you should plan around the “*” wildcard approach. Let me check the knowledge base for you again. One moment! 📚
The docs only mention a single wildcard “” for grouping pages (e.g., /products/). They do not specify support for multiple wildcards (like product/** /) or more advanced patterns. Based on the available info, assume only simple “**” is supported. [Using Heatmaps]If you need to target multiple patterns, you may need to create separate heatmaps per pattern, or narrow via cohorts/filters after generating a heatmap. However, the docs don’t detail multi-pattern entry for a single heatmap. [Using Heatmaps]
