In my Mixpanel Insights and Reports with a Line Graph, results are always clustered by month. Can I also cluster results by last 30 days vs 30 days before that vs 30 days before that and so on?

Yes, you can cluster (or group) your results in Mixpanel Insights line graphs by custom 30-day periods, rather than just by calendar months. To do this, use the date range selector and set a custom rolling window:
1. Date Range Selection: In the date range selector, choose the “Custom” option, then select “Last” and specify “30 days.” You can use the + Ending button to shift the window back, allowing you to compare the last 30 days, the 30 days before that, and so on. This creates rolling 30-day periods rather than fixed calendar months. If you save this report, the date ranges will update dynamically to always show the most recent 30-day windows relative to today.
2. Time Interval: Set the time interval to “Day” or “Week” to see the data points within each 30-day window. If you want to compare multiple 30-day periods, you can use the “Compare to Past” feature to compare the current 30 days to previous 30-day periods.
3. Compare to Past: Use the “Compare to Past” feature to directly compare the current 30-day period to the previous one, and so on. This will visualize both periods on the same graph for easy comparison.
This approach allows you to analyze trends in rolling 30-day windows, rather than being limited to calendar months, giving you more flexibility in how you cluster and compare your data in line graphs Reports: Date Range Reports: Comparisons.
If you need to see multiple rolling 30-day periods at once (e.g., three consecutive 30-day windows), you would need to adjust the date range and use the comparison features, as Mixpanel does not natively display multiple rolling windows as separate clusters in a single line chart, but you can achieve similar analysis through these tools.
