If I want to filter only the session recordings for users that signed up for the first time for my trial and I want to see all their sessions filtering by that cohort, not only the event part, how do you do it?

To filter and view all session recordings (Session Replays) for users who signed up for the first time for your trial, you should: 1. Create a Cohort of First-Time Trial Signups - Use the Cohort Builder or create a cohort directly from a report. For example, define a cohort as “users who performed the ‘Sign Up’ event for the first time” within your desired date range. You can do this by filtering for users whose first event is “Sign Up” or by using the “First Time Ever” filter on the “Sign Up” event in a report, then saving those users as a cohort Docs: Cohorts Blog: Cohort Analysis.2. Use the Cohort to Filter Session Replays - Go to the Session Replay section in Mixpanel. - Use the filter menu to select your newly created cohort. This will filter the session replays to only show sessions from users in that cohort. You can filter replays by cohorts, events, properties, or custom time ranges Docs: Session Replay.3. View All Sessions for Those Users - With the cohort filter applied, you will see all session recordings for users in that cohort, not just sessions where a specific event occurred. This allows you to review the full user experience for your first-time trial signups.Note: - Filtering by cohort in Session Replay will show all sessions for users in that cohort, not just the session where the sign-up event happened. - You can further refine your view by combining cohort filters with event or property filters if needed. This workflow leverages Mixpanel’s ability to create cohorts based on behavioral criteria and then use those cohorts as filters across reports, including Session Replay Docs: Using Cohorts in Analysis. If you need to create a cohort from a specific event (like “Sign Up” for trial) and then use that cohort to filter all session replays, this is the recommended approach according to the documentation.
