Sharing Dashboard Links Without Exposing Entire Mixpanel Project

·
·

Hello all... I've created a dashboard within my project that contains per customer view. I've been thinking I could share this and have it isolated, but the share links land you right into the entire mixpanel project "behind the scenes". Is there a way to have the board just have the board details only visible and not land a casual user into the main project? (it appears this happens even when set to "viewer" status... Thanks for any pointers.

You can set a board as public view and set a pw on that link and then people who have the link see only that board with its applied filters. They can’t edit or drill into the specific insight pages. That’s how I share with customers their specific analytics

Don’t give them a Mixpanel account on your plan.

Ok. And when I was accessing the link (when trying to test that setup prior), I was in authenticated browser already i was landing on board with project details. When I accessed in diff browser/unauthenticated i was landing with how I was expecting it to be. My bad.

Happens to me all the time. I keep Firefox installed for testing public links since I never log in with that other browser.
