How to Break Down Metrics by First Time vs Returning Orders

Is there a way to breakdown a metric using “first time ever”?(Use case: I’d like to count the number of orders we receive, broken down by first time vs returning) The only way I found was to create 2 metrics: A with a “first time ever” filter, B without it, then create a formula “B-A”.

    Hi Frédéric- Julianne from Mixpanel Support here. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm afraid that this would be a product gap on our side. At the moment there is no way to breakdown a metric by the "first time ever". I see how this option would be useful, so I've gone ahead and filed a feature request internally. This will allow the Product Team to evaluate this feature's development for future Mixpanel releases. The best way forward for now would be to create 2 separate metrics as described. I apologize for not having better news there.
