Why Were Profile History Tables Restricted to Enterprise Plans Without Prior Notice?

When did this change?

Profile History tables are only available to organizations on an Enterprise plan.

I have a project on the Growth tier with this enabled and was hoping to to migrate to a new project with it but am now unable to. Why was this not disclosed when the change occurred?

I'm pretty sure this was always an enterprise feature... I remember when it came out and I was bummed that Growth didn't get it

maybe you were part of a beta test?

I was on beta in a previous org. Then it definitely briefly became part of growth as I remember being surprised and glad when I initially set it up. Alas now it now no longer is again
