Hi Muffaddal- Julianne from Mixpanel Support here. With 'Uniques', a user will be counted in every breakdown segment that they qualify for. With 'Uniques- Last Segment', only the last segment in the time period for the user is used for the report. The screenshot has a breakdown on Time (Day), so the 'Uniques' count will count users each separate day that they tracked the event. The 'Uniques- Last Segment' count will only count the user on the latest day in the time period.
Thanks for getting back. So If date range is Jan 1 to Jan 10, for last segment, I will show state of jan 10 on jan 1 date?
It would depend on when a user tracked the events. As an example, let's say a user tracked 'level_start' on Jan 3 and Jan 8. For the 'Uniques' count, they would be counted on the 3rd and once on the 8th. For 'Uniques- Last Segment', they would only be counted on the 8th (their last segment tracked).
