Resolving Discrepancies in Mixpanel Raw Data Analysis

I'm trying to perform some data analysis on Mixpanel raw data for events, but the numbers I'm getting from the application and from the raw data are wildly different. I've done deduplication on $insert_id - still getting some widely different results.

hey there, I think we've had a similar problem, so I might be able to help you if you provide a few more details 👀 Is it the total events? Unique users? Is the data coming from the server-side/client-side? Do you use the Mixpanel SDK or something like Segment?

Hi Iva Đ. - thank you for the response. Total events - events are getting pubbed to Mixpanel from Segment.
