Overriding Global Filters in Dashboard Reports

if I have a global filter applied to a dashboard, is there any way of overriding it for individual reports?

They can be additive but not expansive. So if you have a filter of "customer = X" on the board but want to add "and location = y" on the report, that will work, it will respect that additional filter on the insight. but you can't, to my knowledge, have "customer=x" on the board and then have an insight on it which is "all customers"
