Handling PII in Search Queries: Masking Names in Mixpanel

Hi there, How are people handling search event's search query property if it contains names? Would this be considered PII? Is there some way to mask name searches in Mixpanel?

Preface: not giving legal advice…. I think it depends on what the search involves. If just a person’s name I would argue that is not PII bc it does not identify a particular person. Especially if it involves fuzzy search or partial name input being captured. If it’s searching emails, maybe it is PII in the input. If you are capturing the search results which return specific people, then perhaps that is PII.
