How to Sync HubSpot Contact Data with Mixpanel Profiles via Segment
Hi - I have what I hope is a simple question but I have been unable to find a good answer. Here's the context:
We use Segment to track user events in our app
Mixpanel reads data from Segment. This is all working great.
We use HubSpot as our CRM. HubSpot is the source of truth for several key static customer details.
Goal: I want to enrich and update user profiles in Mixpanel using data from HubSpot contacts. For example, our HubSpot contacts holds our lead scoring category. I want that attribute available to me in Mixpanel for analysis and disaggregation. What I have looked into:
Using a data warehouse as an intermediary - I'm unclear if this is necessary or simply one way to do it. I want to avoid paying for the warehouse tool and the ETL tool to get the data in the warehouse.
Segment Unify (paying for more Segment) - use Unify to model customer profiles and then send them to Mixpanel. I'm pretty sure Mixpanel will accept outputs from Segment Unify but would like confirmation before paying up for those services
