Creating Custom Profile Property for User's Initial Country Data

Is there anyway i can create a custom profile property that stores the data of user's initial country that they just joined my platform?

From what I can tell the default ‘Country Code’ user property captures the initial country value and does not change upon subsequent visits unless it is manually updated. https://docs.mixpanel.com/docs/data-structure/property-reference/default-properties#user-properties
