Maximize Insights with Conditional Session Recording Tools

Session recording tools such as Logrocket allow "conditional recording". Event triggers (with individual sampling rates) can be specified on the UI and only recordings that have those events are kept. Its super useful to have and allows anyone to make dynamic adjustments to recording patterns instead of having to request engineers to make custom changes on the codebase. For example:

  • Record 15% of sessions that reached page X

  • Record 100% of sessions that ran into an error
