Improve Performance of Ctrl-K Search Menu for Faster Access

this is more of a complaint than an idea, but here it goes: the search menu you get by pressing ctrl-k is super useful, I use it all the time... however, it's very slow, even though I almost always go to the same 3 or 4 boards or reports; hell, even a google search is faster! if the search menu cached results to some extent I bet it could be made to work instantaneously in my case, rather than having to wait 2-3 seconds every time, even when I'm searching for the same report over and over
