why aren't events that are logged under the events tab not being reflected as events in the lexicon tab?

This discrepancy between events logged under the Events tab and those reflected in the Lexicon tab can occur due to a few reasons:1. Inactive Events: Mixpanel's report dropdown menus hide events that have not been fired within the last 30 days. These events will still be available in the project's raw data but won't be visible in the UI. This is done to reduce clutter from events that are no longer firing Debugging: Validate your data and troubleshoot your implementation.2. Hidden Events: Events may be hidden in Lexicon by Project Owner and Admin users. Hidden events won't appear in the Lexicon tab but will still be present in the raw data Debugging: Validate your data and troubleshoot your implementation.3. Historical Data: If the events are older than 30 days, they won't show up in Lexicon or in the event dropdown menu across all reports, even if they appear in the Events tab Migrating from Google Analytics.4. Lexicon Schemas: The Lexicon UI shows events that either have an associated schema or have been sent to your project in the last 30 days. If an event doesn't have an associated schema and hasn't been sent recently, it might not appear in Lexicon Lexicon Schemas API.To check if an event is hidden or to make it visible in Lexicon:1. Go to the Lexicon tab. 2. Search for the event by name. 3. Click "Show Hidden Events/Properties" to reveal any hidden events. 4. If the event is hidden, you can unhide it to make it visible in Lexicon Lexicon: Describe your events and data using a dictionary. If the events are still not appearing in Lexicon after these checks, it might be worth contacting Mixpanel support for further assistance.

If you've recently added new events and they are not showing up in the Lexicon tab, it could be due to the following reasons:1. Data Delay: There might be a delay in the data appearing in the Lexicon tab. It can take some time for the new events to be processed and appear in the Lexicon tab.2. Event Approval Feature: If the Event Approval feature is enabled in your project settings, new events are hidden by default until they are approved by an admin. Admins receive a notification about newly tracked events and can then review the event and decide whether to make it visible or keep it hidden Unlocking better data governance with Anomaly Detection alerts and Event Approval. To check if the Event Approval feature is enabled:- Go to the Overview tab of your Project Settings page. - Check the “Event Approval” toggle under Data Governance. If the Event Approval feature is enabled, you can disable it or approve the new events to make them visible in the Lexicon tab.If none of these reasons apply and you're still not seeing the new events in the Lexicon tab, it would be best to reach out to Mixpanel support for further assistance.
