Use the Retention → Frequency report.1. Go to Reports → Retention. 2. At the top of the Retention report, switch the toggle from Standard to Frequency. [Frequency view] 3. Set: - Unit to Week (so buckets are “unique days in a week”). [Frequency view] - The event you care about as the action. 4. In the Frequency settings, choose: - Non‑cumulative Frequency if you want “exactly 1, 2, … 7 days per week”. - Cumulative Frequency if you want “at least 1, 2, … 7 days per week”. [Frequency view]The resulting table will show, for each weekly cohort, what % (or count) of users did the event on 1, 2, … up to 7 unique days in that week.

You can use Compare to past on the report.1. In your report (e.g. Insights or Retention Trends) set the date range to Last 7 days. [Date range] 2. Click Compare to past at the top of the chart. 3. Choose Previous week (or set a custom comparison window if needed). [Time comparisons; Comparisons] 4. Optionally switch to Percent change over baseline to see lift vs the previous week. [Comparisons]Note: Compare to past is supported for Retention Trends and not for the Retention Curve view. [Comparisons]

A Retention Trend is a way to see how a specific retention metric changes over time (as a line or single metric), instead of looking at the full cohort heatmap/curve.- In Retention, you can switch the visualization to Line or Metric to see how your retention rate (or users retained) is trending over time for a given bucket like “Day 1”, “Day 7”, etc. [Basic features] - The Metric view in Retention Trends shows the overall value for that trend in the selected period, with an option to “Cohortize” so it uses the last complete bucket. [Metric view]You can use Retention Trends instead of the previous “Compare to past” approach if your goal is to see how a given retention bucket (e.g. Day 7 retention) is evolving week over week. Also, Compare to past is supported for Retention Trends, so you can still compare the trend to previous periods there. [Comparisons]
