To show the daily average of an event over a month on your Mixpanel dashboard, you can use the Insights report with some specific settings. Here's how you can achieve this:1. Create an Insights report for your event. 2. Set the date range to the month you're interested in. 3. In the measurement settings, choose "Average" as your metric type. 4. Set the time interval to "Daily" to get daily data points. To display this as an average across the entire month, you can use the "Rolling Average" analysis setting. Here's how:1. Click on the measurement menu to access advanced options. 2. In the Analysis Settings, select "Rolling Average" Insights: Visualize trends and compositions within your data. The Rolling Average will calculate the average of the data set over the specified time period, smoothing out daily fluctuations and giving you a clearer trend of the daily average over the month. If you want to display this as a single number representing the daily average for the entire month, you could:1. Use the "Aggregate Property" measurement type. 2. Select the "Average" function for your event property. 3. Set the time interval to "Monthly" to get one data point for the entire month. This will give you the average daily value for your event over the entire month Insights: Visualize trends and compositions within your data.Remember, you can save this report to your dashboard once you've set it up to your liking. If you're still having trouble setting this up, you might want to check if you have the necessary permissions or if there are any data limitations for your specific event or project.

I apologize for the confusion in my previous response. Let me clarify the steps to find the measurement settings in Mixpanel Insights:1. First, create or open an Insights report for your event. 2. Look for the metric section in your query, which is typically at the top of the report builder. 3. In this metric section, you'll see a dropdown menu that defaults to "Unique users" or whatever measurement you previously selected. 4. Click on this dropdown to open the measurement settings. Here's a more detailed breakdown of what you'll see:According to the Insights documentation, the measurement options are grouped based on what is being calculated:- Total - Unique - Count users - Aggregate property values - Aggregate property values per user - Count sessionsTo select "Average" as your metric type:1. Click on the measurement dropdown (which might currently say "Unique users" or another option). 2. Look for "Aggregate Property" or "Aggregate Property per User" in the list. 3. Select the appropriate option based on what you want to measure. 4. You'll then be prompted to select an event property and choose "Average" as the aggregation method. If you're still having trouble locating these settings, it might be helpful to review the Mixpanel Insights interface or consult their documentation for the most up-to-date layout information. The exact location of these settings might vary slightly depending on your Mixpanel version or any recent UI updates.

To set the time interval to "Daily" in Mixpanel Insights, follow these steps:1. In your Insights report, look for the "Group By" or "Interval" option. This is typically located near the top of the report builder, often next to or below the date range selector.2. Click on this option to open a dropdown menu.3. In the dropdown, you should see various time interval options. Select "Day" or "Daily" from this list.According to the Mixpanel documentation on Insights, you can access these advanced settings, including the time interval, by selecting the "> " arrow next to the measurement options. This will reveal additional choices for your analysis, including the ability to set the time interval. If you're having trouble finding this option, it's possible that the UI has been updated or that your specific Mixpanel setup has a different layout. In that case, I recommend checking the most recent Mixpanel documentation or reaching out to Mixpanel support for the most up-to-date guidance on setting the time interval in your reports.
