Hey, is here anyone who tried the MCP integration and found it useful? Sorry for that pessimistic view, however I have not evaluated results and the way I got them more efficient compared to GUI clicking. What setup you think helped to make it work and deliver valuable responses? Anyone who has Mixpanel implemented via Segment CDP - server side with no SDK in place? I assume the MCP is expecting that implementation out of the box not customized with backend events, etc.? Is the Lexicon events's descriptions and their properties the setup that would make it more valuable?

Thanks, yes this is what I have checked, I have checked also User Traits in the Segment - it parses the UTMs out of the URL. Image 2 - Pageview event mapping.

It is web, client side tracking via our own proxy domain.

This is how mapping is made. I think the Mixpanel’s Javascript library default functionality is not working in this case as it's managed by Segment.

Hi Josh, amazing. Thanks for such a quick reply. This is a list of dimensions that are created automatically in my production Mixpanel project where Mixpanel is directly part of the code. But it seems that Segment works slightly different and traffic attribution does not work.

I would also love to connect the UTM data with Ad spend and calculate ROI. You will have to gather (integrate) all data from your ads' networks and import them to the Mixpanel.
