Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with merged events in Lexicon and would appreciate any help or advice. Context:
We had an event called eventA with 6 months of data.
2 months ago, we renamed it in our code to eventB, so now eventA has historical data and eventB has recent data.
eventA is referenced in many reports.
What we did:
Following the Mixpanel documentation, we used Lexicon to merge eventA and eventB, renaming the merged event to eventB.
Issue: After merging, reports referencing eventA now return no data, and we have to manually update each report to use eventB. This seems to contradict the documentation, which states that after merging, both events should be recognized as a unique event in reports and not require manual updates. Additionally, when I try to "Unmerge" the events, I receive a 500 error from the API. I have tried this for 3 different events and faced this issue every time. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a known workaround or solution to get the merged event to be recognized in all reports as expected?
