Hi there, I would like to create a cohort of users who experienced at least X events in the Y days that followed their first Z event, is that possible?
Concretely: I would like to create a cohort of high call volume users, ie who experienced at least 30 end_of_call events in the 14 days that followed their first end_of_call event
Hi Alex, My name's Scott and I'm a Support Engineer at Mixpanel. Thanks for writing in — happy to help. It is possible to answer this question with Mixpanel but it requires some tweaking in the Funnels report. Before getting to that solution, you may be interested in a Cohort, like this: Inline Attachment: image.png Here, we're looking at users that performed an event a certain number of times during a certain period of time, and then did any other event a specified number of times. If that works for you, here are the steps to build that cohort: 1. Add a filter for your first event. In the example above, this is 'Clicked Mixpanel Link'. You can specify a time period ('Last 30 days') and a frequency ('Greater than or equal to'). 2. Add a filter for your second event, or select 'Any Event' if it doesn't matter which particular event they performed. Again, you can specify how many times to perform this event. If that doesn't quite get to the answer you're after, let's take a look at the Funnel report. Unless the X events in your example are specific events, you'll want to create a Custom Event made up of all of the events of interest. You would then use this custom event in the Funnels report, duplicating it as many times as you're interested in, like this: Inline Attachment: image.png In the Conversion Criteria, you'll update the 'Within 7 days' to reflect the Y number of days. Then, in the Funnels report itself, click on the Converted segment of the last funnel step and select View Users: Inline Attachment: image.png And, in the Users sidebar that appears, click the Create Cohort icon: Inline Attachment: image.png Cohorts created from Funnels can't be edited, but this should address your request. Does that help, Alex? Please let me know if I missed the mark, or if there's anything else I can help with. Sincerely, Scott MarinoffSupport Engineer II --------------------💬 Liked my support?
