Mixpanel Project Showing Zero Events Despite Existing Data from Segment

Hi, I created a new project and I have Segment pumping events to it... I can see the events int the Mixpanel -> Project -> Events. I can see 592 events and a bunch of Users too. in the Project settings it's showing zero events? When I go to create a new Board/Funnel, I can't see the events in there to show in the funnel... any hints pls?
