Redshift Integration Error: Unsupported Implicit Cast Issue

Hey guys! I setup the redshift integration with MP. When trying to query the redshift table I get the following error: Unsupported implicit cast: Column ('properties'), FromType: STRUCT, ToType: VARCHAR but when looking at the schema created my MP it shows properties as a string. The event schema in S3 looks fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
